     博物馆设计可以称得上是建筑设计中的圣杯，如何将深厚的历史底蕴蕴含于建筑之中，同时照顾到人的体验性。让人在参观博物馆的过程中，通过建筑空间的塑造营造出对历史尊重的心里氛围是重点也是难点。柳州军事博物馆的设计首先考虑了地形对于场地的制约，同时和周边保留的老的留存遗迹建筑以及中国抗战的飞虎队机场进行呼应。在空间的设计和动线的设置上，注重人的参与性，让人在参观的过程中心情和建筑空间形成呼应。
